Tonight, before bed, I wanted to share some photos of the beauty of flowers and the ants nesting inside their yellow petals.
Here are some photos I took from the top right and left, showing the ants inside these beautiful petals.
I was surprised to see this yellow flower with ants inside. I wondered what these ants were doing inside the petals. They suck nectar, and ants are fanged insects, so it's impossible for them to suck honey.
As far as I know, these ants are predators, not suckers. This is clearly evident from the ants' large, fanged heads.
