I understand. I see why the tilt function is insensitive. I think they actually turned it off. I believe this pinball location has patrons who play at an advanced level. I think they’ve disabled the tilt sensitivity on this machine intentionally.
The game is called, “Deadpool”. It’s made by a company who can probably be credited with reviving pinball, Sterns. This is a popular game. Lots of people like it. Many different walks of life and enjoy this game. At first, it looked complicated to me. Now that I’ve gotten into it, I see the similarities. Like I always say every single pinball machine is modeled after older pinball machines, and therefore they have similar scoring potential.
It takes a lot of points and a lot of work to earn a free game. Maybe I suck, but it seems like a must earn over 120 millions/thousand whatever to earn a free game.
I’m surprised there’s any free game at all with a tilt function, disabled.
How do I know it’s disabled? I’ll tell you. I’ve never been so ruthless and playfield shifting with any other game. Slam it, bump, it, twisted, left, or right, and there’s never a tilt penalty.
I have pictures!
So, I was in the middle of a multi ball frenzy, and two of the balls became trapped in a weird area. I have no idea why anything goes into this area. It’s like some weird ramp to keep balls out of the plunger area. This is not the first time I’ve seen a ball stuck here.
This is the first time I’ve seen two balls stuck here. I’ve seen a single ball stuck here before and the staff told me the game was rendered unplayable. They said I had to wait for maintenance. I dead-lifted that shit and fixed it in five seconds.
I also manhandled this machine during the frenzy. Lifting the machine once wasn’t good enough. I had to actually rock the balls to get them enough momentum to fall out of this area. Craziness, like a joke. Tilt should be screaming.
Here’s an image I took just before “getting real” with this classic analog game.
That was fun.
I didn’t win a free game.
I learned stuff.
Thanks for reading.
