At our ranch, we have always been deeply committed to caring for animals, providing them with a safe and nurturing environment. One day, an unexpected opportunity arose when we were contacted by the Irapuato Zoo. They informed us that a young tiger cub had tragically lost its mother and was in need of a new home. One of the zoo staff members knew about our ranch and how well we take care of animals, so they reached out to see if we could help.
Without hesitation, we agreed to rescue the tiger cub, whom we named Max. We knew, however, that tigers are social creatures, and we wanted to make sure Max had companionship. To ensure he wouldn’t feel alone, we decided to acquire a female tiger, whom we named Kira.
Max and Kira quickly adapted to life on our ranch, thriving in their new home. We take great care in their feeding, providing them with a diet of horse heart and chicken to ensure they receive all the nutrients they need. Although we interact with them regularly, we only touch them from outside their enclosure for safety. However, with their cubs, things are a little different. I have the privilege of holding and bonding with the little ones, bringing joy to each day.
Their journey from rescue to building a family has been both heartwarming and inspiring. It’s a true testament to the dedication we have in providing a sanctuary where animals can live happily and healthily.
