Monday.
A new week begins.
Everything goes in circles.
Dead trees are allowing sunlight to reach the ground and the circle of life begins anew.
It's kind of frightening to see what the past three years of mild and severe droughts have done to some parts of the local forest.
Even though this is, or rather this was just a fast growing pine forest, planted with purely economic goals, it's still a bit unsettling to see it in such a state.
But... everything goes in circles...
It was a new normal day with new normal activities. I'm getting used to it and it's slowly getting old... circles!
After passing by the dead pines, I came by this weirdly conjoined tree on my afternoon walk circling through the forest.
I stopped to take the picture when I noticed something else, a little something up there on the tree caught my curious eye...
...a little pebble beetle!
I really need to start bringing some googly eyes on my walks again!
Thanks for your time!
