At any age, people need movement. Children and teenagers want to move. They need movement to develop their bones, muscles and heart. Good health acquired through exercise in childhood and adolescence will be maintained throughout life, and the habit and passion for exercise helps them as adults to support their physical activity, even when they are busy. As you age, your metabolism slows down, and your muscles begin to atrophy. It's a natural process. But this state of affairs is not necessarily tragic, if movement is a habit.
