Greetings my friends and all lovers of physical activities all over the world. Welcome to my Actifit Report for Tuesday the 7/4/2026. Work resumes after the Easter holidays. The state government is trying to o beautify the city with some classic paintings. The painting below is just one of them. It caught my fancy so I snapped it for keeps.
The Champions League took centre stage with two mouthwatering encounters on the night. First was the game between Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich playing away to the Spanish giants Real Madrid. Bayern Munich took a 2 - goal lead at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium before Kylian Mbappé pulled one back for the home team as the game ended (2-1) in favour of Bayern Munich.
A win of this tie will see Bayern Munich reach the Champions League semifinals for the first time since 2023-24, when they were eliminated by eventual champions Madrid. The second leg of this quarterfinal game comes up next week. History is however on the side of Bayern Munich as they have always advanced in 12 of the 13 Champions League ties in which they won the first leg on road. Next week game in Germany will tell.
The second game of the night was between Sporting CP vs. Arsenal. The Gunners who are bidding to reach the semi-finals of the Champions League for the second season in a row for the first time in their history left it late to secure a crucial (1-0) win over Sporting CP in Lisbon. It took substitute Kai Havertz to score a stoppage time winner to hand the Gunners a lifeline as they square up again in the second leg at the Emirates stadium next week.
That's it for now. Thanks for reading up to this point. Until next time, I say, keep exercising.
