Hello Actifiers!
I did my exercise routine, and achieved a good step score.
Since the lockdown began, I kept myself running at least twice a week (No less than 4km). I should admit that my heart condition has enhanced a lot; in fact I’m considering the running discipline as my new lifestyle.
Everybody knows that cardiovascular or aerobic exercises such as running, swimming or cycling, among others, increases the consumption and oxygen requirement of our heart, and the main changes that occurs with a consistent practice of exercise is the enlargement of the heart chambers.
In a simple way: “Our heart gets bigger”. If we do intense exercise, the walls of our heart become more thicken and every beat will send more blood with additional pressure; in this way the oxygen will circulate better throughout our body.
Therefore, if our oxygen level remains high while we do exercise, it means that our body is well adapted and can continue to bring in and process enough oxygen, even with high workout. Low levels of oxygen in the blood could also be a sign of certain health conditions, and low level of physical fitness.
You can measure your blood levels using the following guide as a reference:
• 95% to 100%: Normal.
• 91% to 94%: Mild hypoxia (loss of oxygen).
• 86% to 90% Moderate hypoxia.
• Anything below 85% indicates severe hypoxia that requires immediate medical attention.
So we must do any physical activity, combining this habit with a healthy diet, consuming products rich in vitamins, minerals and healthy fats such as avocado.
Today I enjoyed a delicious avocado and tomato salad garnished with honey, pepper, olive oil, and sea salt. Excellent way to start the day!
That is all for today Folks! I’m leaving you this interesting tip:
✔️Low intensity workouts, continuously and relatively long (more than 45 minutes) will be a good stimulus to increase the size of our heart.
Greetings to all and remember:
Good Vibes 😎🍃.
