Another incredibly hot day for us today compared with normal UK weather. We are still staying in Hastings so we decided to visit the town of Battle where some bloke called William invaded England way back in 1066. It is another beautiful little historic town which is overlooked by the ancient Abbey that William had built not long after the invasion.
After some time wandering around the town and Abbey we drove along to the Battle Great Woods where we had our lunch and another wander around.
Following that we drove back to Hastings and had a quick dip in the sea to cool off before returning to our accommodation.
For our evening we walked back into Hastings town and found a great pub for pizza and cider. - a perfect end to another excellent day.
