Today's picture is of my wife's ingenious idea to support our little step over apple with old hockey sticks. Having played hockey for most of our lives, we have quite a collection of worn out sticks and it's nice to see people pointing them out as they walk past the house.
I had busy day today which started with an early 12km run which can be seen in my other post.
We then went over to my youngest sons new house to continue the job of getting into a livable condition. My initial job was to fit a new front door lock. It would gave been an easy job if we could have found one the same size as the original but instead I spent over an hour chopping out the door to get the new one to fit.
Then it was back to stripping old wallpaper, filling holes and lots and lots of sanding. We were all totally covered in dust by the time we stopped this evening. Hopefully it won't be too many days before we can actually start making it look better.
