Today was the first day back to school for all of the pupils at the school that I drive for which meant a full bus (almost) both this morning and this afternoon. A couple I was expecting didn't turn up and a couple I wasn't expecting did turn up. I still haven't got to the bottom of the problem so I'm still hoping it's just an admin issue from the office.
I did try to go for a run this morning after my first shift but that rapidly went downhill. I have had a bit of an ache in my ankle for a couple of days but thought nothing of it. However during my warm up for my run it suddenly became quite painful. Not so bad that I couldn't run on it, but I've learnt my lesson when it comes to ignoring little injuries so I aborted my run and went home. All in all a bit disappointing but I'm going to rest up for a couple of days.
