The cover picture today is of a little friend who seems to have adopted my son at his new house.
I managed to get out for a nice little 12.5km run this morning after I got back from work. Looking at both the bbc weather and acuweather apps I was fairly confident of not getting wet on my run. However I was barely half way around when it started raining and it didn't stop until after I was back home. - I never learn !
I'm pretty pleased with my run today, not due to the pace or distance, but because I actually felt OK for all of it. It was the most comfortable run I've had for ages.
School was finishing at lunchtime today due to an open day event taking place this afternoon so I had very little time following my run to get showered and changed before I was off to do today's second shift. The advantage of that of course was a nice early finish for me today. (Which I then wasted by catching up on some TV that I've missed recently- ah well).
