Wednesday started once again with a walk across town to pick up my replacement school bus before I could do my morning round. Once that was done and I was back at home it was time to get out for my run.
Today my coaching app instructed me to do a "superset". This comprised a 1.6km warm-up, 200m of running as hard as I could, 600m of running with a little less effort but still hard and then 1.6km at 4:50 minutes per km pace before an easy run home. Well, I managed the 200m hard run ok but after that my legs gave up on me and the rest of the run became a bit of a desperate plod to get home. I know it was my fault for doing too much on the previous day.
After that, the only thing I did for the rest of the day was my afternoon shift picking up the school children and taking them home.
Thank you for reading and I'll be back tomorrow.
