Oh my gosh—Canada is melting!
We’re deep in a heatwave, and to top it off, I’ve got medical issues that make long exposure to direct sun a no-go. Thankfully, I’ve got a fitness bike.
“Look, Ma, no handlebars!” 🚴♀️
But seriously, I’ve been brainstorming ways to stay active when walking outside feels like stepping into a furnace. Here’s what I came up with:
🌙 Walk at night (vampire mode)
🌳 Take short walks in densely shaded areas
🌲 Go hiking under tree cover
🏊♀️ Swim (if you’ve got a waterproof tracker!)
💻 Follow cardio videos indoors
🏋️♀️ Use workout equipment: treadmill, stationary bike, rowing machine, row-and-ride, etc.
🔁 Skip rope (great for quick, sweaty bursts)
It’s only been two days of consistent movement, and I’m already tasting that sweet, sweet dopamine. That gym rat version of me? She’s peeking around the corner—and she’s hungry.
