Keys: October 4 2023

Open Mic night at the Hyde Park Pub only up the road; no pictures of us as we were doing duets but these guys are pretty good! Both Steve's there on guitar and bass. The one on the left plays harmonica beautifully too and was intrigued by my magnetic holder, which is of course a nifty piece of kit.. 😉

We had a keyboard player this time and he invited me to play, but I politely declined.. haha
I like his toy, I must say; I have tried it in a shop, very tempting but this model isn't the cheapest; it's only 73 keys which is what I'm after or less as most of the time you don't play all 88 keys anyhow but unlike my 61 keys one has this the hammer action which plays better and is close to the feel of weighted keys.

The gate of one of the cemeteries was open for a change, they're normally closed when we're about; I couldn't resist to take a picture.
