Yesterday seemed like it would be a busy day after 11 am, lots of appointments, people to sell to, meetings and whatnot, so I wanted to make the most out of the morning and explore an underwater cave; I only have a few days more here in Merida before having to go back and I've spent most of my time here working or doing work related stuff, so I was definitely decided to do something fun before a busy, busy day.
It was an amazing morning full of adventure and I'll definitely make a huge post about this cavern but, in the meantime I'll leave you with this piece of info: the cave I went into is 1.3 km deep and it takes more than one hour to cover from the entrance to the deepest part - discovered, there are many more paths that remain hidden or that are yet to be tamed - and I spent more than two hours inside the cave covering the ground of the mid-difficulty path.
13k steps, more than great for a day like this one.
