Yesterday was a comfortable day because of the weekend, I spent the whole day yesterday watching the World Cup match South Africa vs Sri Lanka. Batting first, South Africa set a huge target of 429 for Sri Lanka.
Three African batsmen Quinton de Kock, R. van der Dussen and Aiden Markram scored centuries. In that Aiden Markram scored the fastest century. Aiden Markram scored 106 runs in 54 balls.
Chasing the target, as soon as the Sri Lankan team came to bat, they lost the first wicket in the form of P Nissanka in the 2nd over and came under pressure.
The African bowlers maintained the same pressure and South Africa defeated Sri Lanka by 102 runs.
