Dubai. Last Day
It was my sister's last day in the UAE, and since she was flying out from the Dubai Airport, we traveled from Abu Dhabi yesterday and did some last minute visits to the Museum of the Future and the Dubai Mall.
Today was kinda more laid back. Just chillin' if you may say. The flight was at 10pm, so we had the full day free.
Our uncle, who worked in a yacht in the Palm Jumeirah Marina, invited us to visit the yacht just for some photo ops. 🤪
The day was sunny, but pleasant. Perfect for an outdoor activity such as this.
My uncle called for a buggy to bring us from the parking lot to the docks. The boat was so nice. It was a private boat that's just meant for personal use.
We toured the yacht. Sorry, no pictures. We just really savored it and feasted with our eyes.
So. This is how the rich relaxed. ✨️
We chatted, had coffee inside the yacht, and left after about an hour. After living the rich life for an hour, we went to a thrift shop to buy some stuff. The best of both ends, would you say? Lol.
Then we went to pick up our little cousin from her school. It was 3.30pm. I was exchausted from lack of sleep from the previous night. I slept in the car while they bought some groceries.
To the airport.
Finally, we were ready to go to the airport. We planned to leave before 6pm, but we got held up a bit. The metro was busy, as it was rush hour.
It still took us about an hour to reach the airport. Fortunately, the airport departures was connected to the metro, and the walk was not that far.
Little sis was a bit anxious about her baggage. She thought it would be over the set limit, but all was good. She was able to check in without any issues, and so I left.
I headed back to the metro, this time going back to the bus station to travel back to Abu Dhabi. Duh, did I already miss my "partner in , wing-it-til-we-make-it-associate in the train? Oh sistah, I did not take the rong train, nor miss my stop. We definitely became metro experts in this vacation of yours. 🤩
