No river roaring. Just some cats fighting. And after finally falling asleep again, the soft breeze of a sunny morning with the adjacent birds chirping. I woke up alone after a tired night, and it took some time to get up. I did my breathing meditation, brewed the coffee and decided to do some computer work before showering and all that. Well it went.
I got a course on taxes today, nothing out of the ordinary, but a friend of mine helps me out with that and it’s always great to talk to him, and I want to take some work of his friendly shoulders at least while I can, now that Lily is not here. So much time left… I will have to be careful not to fall back into old, unhealthy habits.
All morning was work. I played a little #Splinterlands in the afternoon but only around 10 battles, took a nap, and then met up with my cousin-in-law. If that exists. Ellie had gone to Ibarra with her daughter and my SIL, so when my CIL asked what they were doing, they told me. Just like last week. My CIL is amazing, super smart and always finds great topics to talk about. In depth, nothing superficial ever. I really enjoy spending time with her.
Ellie and the rest of the crew joined while we were already sitting at the next door restaurant for an hour. They had the best beer combos, and decent food, too, so we had opted for that. We stayed for another hour hanging out, and then everyone got tired. Ellie drove them home, I walked to pick Ellie up. It’s a small town, so even though they went by car, I arrived before she had changed and packed her things to spend the night at my place.
And that’s it for tonight. I’m tired by now, too. Sleep well!
