I wanted to write a diary, but it somehow turned into a post on the main account. Oh, well, that’s good. Bringing some thoughts to digital paper is progress. Which reflects today. Looking back, I really accomplished a whole lot today. I didn’t go to the gym, though, which explains why I’m not completely exhausted. I could have, but I decided to give other things priority – like having a walk with Ellie during sunset, being able to take wonderful pictures.
First step of the day was getting Nero medicated. Never fun, but I kind of have the trick now (it’s dissolving meds in tuna water). The we had the last bit of the formation for the Nuevo Sol workers about threads and stitches and fabrics and such. That was good, as I realized that I had learned a lot about it while translating, being able to answer many questions myself and actually ask the listeners questions. Which they generally had answers to – that is good, too.
Next step was to get to Ibarra, to the DINAPEN, the police in charge of matters that regard children. I thought it was just to deliver a paper the judiciary had given me, but they told me to wait, that they could do it right away – if I had a car. Because they weren’t given any gasoline for their police trucks, so they were running empty. Well, that’s Ecuador, too. I told them that Lily wasn’t in Ecuador anymore, but they still had to go and check for themselves. Due diligence, although 2 other bodies of the judiciary had already confirmed that she wasn’t there. Well, whatever. I know the rules. Wave and smile. Went there, did confirm she wasn’t there, then went back to Ibarra, then back to the manufacturing facility to leave the car with Ellie again.
Back home, I had a quick bite to eat and then my mom called. We talked quite a bit about her moving process, the emotional part about it and how hard it is on her. I know now why she didn’t reply much to me in the last weeks. But she’s getting out of the hole, was brave enough to ask for help (which is phenomenal since she never does, she only helps others, but it’s hard to help her), and is improving overall. We talked about the Lily situation, too, about the progress, the escalation in defamation against me from the mom’s side, and how I’m trying to handle that by staying cool. I can’t prove a negative, anyway. In theory, the mom would have to prove that I did something wrong, and since I didn’t, that’ll be hard.
Nero got his tube removed since he’s eating and drinking well. I picked him up after talking with my mom and walking for a little, settling almost all of the debt with the hospital. Only 80$ more and I’m done with that, thanks to donations. He’s doing really well, and I’ll let him out in the garden tomorrow.
Then, Ellie swung by to measure some pants on me. And I went to her place with her, to do a nice walk that I mentioned before. Since I almost got to 15k steps, I decided to walk around inside the house a little to get there. That’s a great mark. Talking about marks – my Actifit account is now 1k HP heavy, and has 100k Sports token staked. Quite nice. Okay, 500 HP were seed HP from my main account, but still. That’s some good progress for a small niche account.
Oh wow this post is getting long. Sorry about that. If you didn’t read it all, you’re excused. Hope you liked the pictures, though! Thanks for reading and have a good night!
