Today's job was to get some seedlings planted. So first things first, build a frame to make a screen / sieve for the dirt , sand and compost. Apparently that suppose to be good seedling mix. I guess I'll find out. 😀
I used some scraps I had left over from the fence. The holes were a little to big , so I used two layers and just offset the second piece. The second layer wasn't big enough in what I had left so I had to use two pieces for the second layer, so the board in the middle there is just to help to two layers stay together. Not ideal , but it worked in the end.
Had to bury one of our chickens unfortunately , it had been sick for a few days , and didn't make it in the end. 😞
And finally the seedling mix. Earlier I had planted some lettuce, onions, beetroot and some beans ... I'm not really a gardener , so I don't really know what I'm doing here hahah 😅 ... Hopefully it all works out though :)
