Today the moon reached its full moon phase. Incidentally, the circular earth satellite has a few nicknames in February. The full moon in the second month of the year is also known as the snow moon, storm moon and last winter moon. However, the names are not to be understood as a weather forecast. The February full moon neither ensures stormy weather nor does it make snow. Rather, the names come from primitive peoples and are often created through observation of nature.
