Most people would say taking a walk in 34°C midday heat is a terrible idea. And… yeah, fair. But when nature shows up in full bloom, rules go out the window.
Today’s lunch break turned into a vibrant sauna stroll along the canal. The air smelled like spring’s last sigh and summer’s first breath—sweet, grassy, and slightly sweaty (thanks, humidity). I passed clusters of yellow daisies, shock-pink sweet peas, and even some bold wild grasses standing taller than me like they owned the place.
Sure, the sun tried to roast me like a marshmallow, but these views? Worth every drop of sweat. There’s something magic about sweating for your peace—about choosing presence when comfort begs you to skip it.
One walk. One canal. One scorching day.
But also: one perfect moment of calm.
