Today was a special day. We had some two sessions of training, the morning and evening training.
I couldn't attend the morning training but had to take permission from coach who considered me and let me skip a session.
But I kept to my promise to him, I promised to make it to the evening training. I don't joke with these training sessions because our coach has warned us of the disadvantage(s) of skipping trainings without solid reasons. His favourite quote says, "no pain, no gain." He urged us not to skip training because of laziness or lack of motivation.
Building the body and burning off calories is basically for one's good use and not the coach's.
We did different activities during the training ranging from slow jogging to running and squats. We played football for some time before having a walk around the 400m square field.
The picture above is that of my life saver today, it was filled with water containing glucose which kept me energized and motivated throughout the workout and outdoor activities.
