A windy blue sky does not bring encouragement to get up. Just keep turning over and over. Did get up to face the day. My wife was off early to get her walk in. I took my time to do breakfast. It was windy. Did push out to go for a ride and a walk.
I headed to a track I walked last week to see if the mayfly orchid bud has opened
Always other stuff to see as spring creeps up
The track has been cleaned with all the leaves blown to the sides - did find some greenhood leaves.

This leaf could well be an orchid - single leaf - will have to come back
The photo looks like a tidy track - centre of the track is clear of leaves. They have been blown to the edges
The sad part is the orchids I was looking for are under those leaves. They will not emerge this season until we get big rains to wash the leaves down the hill.
