Wake to packing dreams - no surprise as have been getting ready for the road trip all of Monday. At least everything is stashed in piles and the gear choices are made. Did a quick shop - took the car as I have to bring the car to apartment to load.
Easy enough pack - load all the gear in one bag and put a bit of food and panniers in the car. Set up the roof rack and load the bike on the roof. A bit later leaving than planned. Was directed on a different route than normal. Worked well as it knocked 15 minutes off quickest time and had no tolls. Stopped at this lookout first time ever - been past this at least 100 times. Took the time to get the new bike rack for front panniers sorted for the bike - best done ahead of time. Did have to take it off as there is a chance the bike with front wheel off will not fit on the roof rack
Mowed the lawns - grown a lot since neighbour cut them last week. And had enough time to go for a ride to check a new saddle. Always risky to try a new saddle but the old one is not great
