Made it out for a late afternoon walk. Been busy doing care stuff for my wife's brother who is visiting for the weekend
Walked down to the local Blackbutt Creek track. Got to say I never like seeing a digger at the top of the track - always means smashed orchid locales
Bush whacker cannot get low enough to knock off the ground hugging leaves. These will flower in a few weeks
Light was too low to get close ups of the sharp greenhood orchids - stepped back view
Did get one half decent shot of new acianthus orchid - acianthus pusillis
Some mushroom action. Lesson for next week - walk earlier when light is better
Epacris time - not sure of which one
Spakly white mushroom pushed out of the grey soil
Low light photo of sharp greenhood - one of four colonies found
The track maintenance man has been and chopped everything down to two inches plus some gouging. These came along later
Another low light shot - sorry - pterostylis acuminata
Change of scene - mushroom with ripples
Next colony of sharp greenhoods along
Greenhood rosette - maybe the same as the ones seen so far
This one is different and now in the open - nodding greenhood
Cooked dinner for my son-in-law - a few fish dishes - he loves fish
