It is another grey day. Had hoped to get on a train to walk the bush but forecast was not my friend. Walking an umbrella in the bush does not work.
Got a bit stuck doing investing stuff for the time the sky was blue. Made for an umbrella walk anyway - chose to do a loop around walk to the shops via Richmond Park. Egg and bacon flower suggests raindrop flowers as a theme

Struggled to get a photo of this cottage last time past this way. Deleted it. Framing of the gateway worked a bit better
Park is one of the remnant turpentine forests - checking on the greenhood colonies - could be a bumper season. Flower spikes just emerging

Walked past my normal side track to check on mosquito orchids. Found a new greenhood colony spot

Did find one budding just as the rain started to bang down. Hence the lack of focus - low light and moving

Azalea and raindrops wrapped up the umbrella walk. Did the shopping on the way home.
