Was on my way to get some resources for next week's lesson when I passed by at the canteen. I said I would not look at the menu as I was fasting due to sugar intake the past days. Well, there it goes a big writing of loaded jacket potato it says. Dang, Who am I to say no to it too? No regrets after though, it was a deli and I even got an extra chicken strips along with it. How cool was that? 😅
Since it was a short day at work, thanks to it being Friday, I went straight home. Once I got there, I made sure to take a nap to recharge before starting my afternoon activities. I knew I had to fit in an hour of KpopXfitness dance. I hadn't been able to exercise for the past three days because of a minor sore throat, and I really missed it. I love being on the floor, moving to the beat. Dancing is where my heart truly feels at home. The energy and joy I get from dancing are amazing, and it felt so good to be back at it after a short break.
To wrap up the day, I had dinner with colleagues. It was a good catch-up session and much needed since we’ve all been a bit stressed out at work. We enjoyed great food and shared a lot of laughs. We decided to get together for another meal in four weeks, just before we part ways for the summer holidays. The idea is simply blissful—can't wait!
