Still not feeling great, I managed to drag myself to work today. I had been self-medicating, but by the end of the day, it was clear that my efforts were ineffective. My throat felt increasingly sore, and a dry cough was starting to develop. Realizing I might need antibiotics, I decided to visit the clinic.
Unfortunately, the clinic didn't reopen until 4 PM, so I had some time to kill. I headed to the mall and treated myself to my favorite fish and chips. After finishing my meal, I still had some time before the clinic reopened. On a whim, I checked if Amanda, my go-to hairstylist, was available for a haircut. Luckily, she was free, so I decided to get a trim to pass the time.
Right after my haircut, the timing was perfect to head back to the clinic. Once there, I was diagnosed with tonsillitis and was prescribed antibiotics.
So, that was my day—work, a visit to the mall, a haircut, and a clinic appointment. Hoping these antibiotics kick in soon! How's everyone else's day going?
