It's been a massive four days. And it ended, just now, with a brief but very loud visit to Chinatown to hear what all the drumming was about.
I've been in a professional training called Matrix Reimprinting. It's a robust process that can be used to heal an incredible number of diverse problems because of how deep it goes.
It's blown my mind, to be honest, and that's saying something because I've been working in the healing arts for about a decade already.
It's going to take some time to integrate. And once I've got my head around it and my body feels like it's fully grounded again, then it will be time to practise.
Practise, practise and practise some more.
But for now, it's time to let go and the work, the group and my darling friend who ran this training. We're all going out separate ways and while I've said goodbye in person, I now need to also goodbye in my heart.
Thankfully, once the training was all finished, Brad and I met up with my friend and her husband for a double dinner date.
Fitting, given it's Valentine's Day ❤️
We ate tasty, reasonably priced Malaysian food and then walked 'home' via a circuitous route that happened to pass within a block of Chinatown town.
From The Goods Line - a well-loved and used pedestrian area that used to be a 'goods' train route - we could hear all this banging and clanging.
I watched my friend get all excited about what it might be. But she was also super tired from running a four day training.
The 'boys' seemed unattached to whether we went or not, so I grabbed her hand and walked towards the sound. She loved it.
The sounds, the dancing, colourful dragons, the excitement.
She's a shorty, so we found a table to stand on so she could see. And once she'd danced a little and seen the colourful dragons with drummers trailing behind, she'd had her fill.
We weaved back through the massive crowd and headed home.
It's been a massive four days and I am so very grateful for all of it. 🙏🙏🙏
(Thank you v much, for the photo.)
