We left Sydney this morning; my training is done.
We meandered through Royal National Park and drove along the Sea Cliff Bridge near Stanwell Park, on our way south to Shellharbour.
If you know this part of the world, then you'll know we're in the stunningly beautiful Illawarra Region where the biggest town is Woolongong. There are beaches galore and we've already seen enough beautiful views of the ocean, rolling hills and beautiful bush that we could fill an old film camera 📸
In our attempt to settle into our very temporary home here in Shellharbour, we went for a walk around the beaches and parks at the bottom of the main shopping area.
In one of the parks, I spotted a flying fox. Not the animal you saw me post about last week while in Woolgoogla, but rather the piece of play equipment that lets human being fly through the air like they are this same animal 😄
When we walked past the first time, their were some little kids playing on it. I was happy to see them happy.
But after dinner, we did another walk and the entire playground was virtually empty.
I made a beeline for the flying fox. I didn't need to tell Brad what I was up to: he figured it out quick smart, and his phone was at the ready to capture it!
Looks fun, hey?
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee 🎉
