Today I formally began my academic debut with the high school students at my institution. This year I have a project in mind and I want to carry it out with my fifth-year high school students.
I have the advantage that this new school year I was assigned to teach Spanish and Literature to all fifth-year high school students. There are three sections in total, with approximately 28 students per section. Based on my experience over so many years working in education, some of these students drop out for various reasons. This means that the average number of students who complete the full school year would be 20 students per section, which would give me a total of approximately 60 students in my care, taking into account, as I mentioned before, the various factors that influence school dropout rates.
Fifth-year high school students are in their final year of secondary school, and this academic year, teachers have the responsibility of guiding them to the completion of their academic period with a view to continuing their studies at the university level. Not all will choose to continue their studies; however, a large percentage could be able to opt for a university degree, and that is why the guidance of the teacher who will accompany them in this final educational process is very important.
I have the honor of accompanying these children, and I am encouraged by the affection I have for them because I have seen them grow up in the institution and I know they have fought to be there, thanks to their efforts, the efforts of their parents, and the great efforts of many teachers who, despite not earning a decent salary, have struggled just like them. It hasn't been easy, but we continue, and we have faith that better opportunities will come for our country.
My wonderful project for this new school year is to include Hive in my planning:
Hive as an educational tool for developing the literary and digital skills of fifth-year high school students.
Before making my planning, I met with the institution's planning teacher, along with the school principal, and proposed assessing the students' Spanish and Literature curriculum content differently for fifth-year high school students. I explained to them that the Assessment Technique would only be changed for some content related to literary creation.
I proposed using the Digital Blog as a learning strategy, where students could express their written work, previously developed through learning and using technological writing skills.
I hoped that fifth-year high school students would develop their Full Digital Citizenship, acquiring the necessary skills to build their critical writing voice and digital identity, acquire communication skills, and develop mastery of technological tools. These skills are necessary to face the digital world at the university level.
Our first phase of study will be the knowledge and uses of digital technology, the different social networks (web2 web3), and of course, knowledge of Hive Blockchain and decentralization. These are basic concepts that students should master before delving into the world of Blockchain writing. I am committed to guiding you on this path, and I sincerely hope that once you learn about Hive and its great potential, you will fall in love with this wonderful platform.
This is a project that I hope will bear the greatest fruit. I will introduce Hive to kids who are preparing to face a world of possibilities. Maybe all of them, or maybe two or one of them, will fall in love with Hive, and I will feel satisfied with having achieved it. I will show you in future posts how the activities I have planned have unfolded.

Hoy he comenzado formalmente mi inicio académico con los chicos de secundaria en mi institución. Este año tengo un proyecto en mente y quiero llevarlo a cabo con mis estudiantes de quinto año de bachillerato.

Los estudiantes de quinto año de bachillerato cursan su último año de secundaria y este año académico los profesores tenemos la responsabilidad de guiarlos a la culminación de su período académico con miras a la prosecución de sus estudios a nivel universitario, no todos optaran a continuar sus estudios; sin embargo, un gran porcentaje podría lograr optar ´por una carrera universitaria y por eso es muy importante la guía del docente que los acompañará en este último proceso educativo.
Tengo el honor de acompañar a estos chicos y me anima el afecto que les tengo porque los he visto crecer en la institución y sé que han luchado por estar allí, gracias a su esfuerzo, al esfuerzo de sus padres y al gran esfuerzo de muchos docentes que a pesar de no tener un salario digno hemos batallado igual que ellos. No ha sido fácil pero aún continuamos y tenemos fé de que vendrán mejores oportunidades para nuestro país.
Mi hermoso proyecto para este nuevo año escolar es incluir a Hive dentro de mi planificación:
Hive como herramienta educativa para el desarrollo de habilidades literarias y digitales de los estudiantes de 5to año de bachillerato.
Antes de hacer mi planificación me reuní con la profesora de planificación de la institución en conjunto con el director del plantel y les propuse evaluar a los chicos de una manera diferente los contenidos concernientes a la pensum de estudio de Castellano y Literatura de los estudiantes de quinto año de bachillerato. Les expliqué que solo se varíaría la Técnica de Evaluación para algunos contenidos que tuviesen que ver con la creación literaria.
Les planteé utilizar como estrategia de aprendizaje El Blog Digital donde el estudiante podrá plasmar su producción escrita, previamente desarrollada a través del aprendizaje y uso de la habilidades tecnológicas para la escritura.
Queriendo con ello que el estudiante de quinto año de bachillerato logre desarrollar su Ciudadanía Digital Plena, adquiriendo las destrezas necesarias para que construya su voz de escritor crítico, su identidad digital, adquiera competencias comunicativas y desarrolle el dominio de herramientas tecnológicas. Habilidades necesarias para enfrentarse al mundo digital a nivel universitario.
Nuestra primera fase de estudio será el conocimiento y usos de la tecnología digital, la diferentes redes sociales(web2 web3) y por supuesto el conocimiento de Hive Blockchain y la descentralización, son conceptos básicos que antes de adentrarse al mundo de la ecsritura en la Blockchain deberían manejar. Tengo el compromiso de guiarlos en este camino y espero con mucha fé que una vez conozcan a Hive y su gran potencial se enamoren de esta gran plataforma.
Es un proyecto que espero rinda los mejores frutos, daré a conocera Hive a chicos que se están preparando para enfrentarse a un mundo de posibilidades, tal vez todos o tal vez dos o uno se enamore de Hive y me sentiré satisfecha de haberlo logrado. Estaré mostrando en futuros post como se han desarrallados las actividades que tengo planificadas.
