First day back at home - work to do to tidy up before guests for Mother's Day lunch.
King parrot took a day to come by
Mowed the front lawn - watered the orchids - moved a big travertine table - steps come from there. Prepped the pork ribs for tomorrow - dry spice rub and 24 hours in sous vide at 145F.
We went out to a local club to watch a Dusty Springfield tribute. First time in over 15 months to do this. Masks not required as the venue is set up as a drinks venue. Sell out. Nice to see a crowd after this week's covid events un Sydney.
The artist lived up to the costumes and wigs part of the story and sang the Motown stuff really well. I had a chat with her afterwards to get a signed CD. Thanks Monique Montez for a great show.

End of a good road trip. Would have liked more cycling and more orchid walking but this trip was not for me.
