We had a day out at Littlehampton beach today 🤽.
The weather was warm at about 24° with a fairly brisk breeze. I was amazed how brown the grass was behind the beach.
It reminds us of the drought in summer of 1976. I'm showing my age now!
Littlehampton is very popular, with an amusement park just behind the beach. Also plenty of refreshments and beachwear kiosks along the front.
The tide was at its lowest point when we got there, much to our granddaughter's delight! So we had a good paddle and splash around in the shallow water.
The coast is about an hour's drive from our home so we are lucky to have a good choice of beaches along the south coast of England.
