Another lovely sunny day at the airport!
Work days can almost be a pleasure when the weather conditions are like this. It feels great to be #alive .
An early start with two flight of catering on board we headed out to the airport. A Wizzair plane was waiting for us. Nobody about so we entered the aircraft to load the order.
Next was a Westjet flight not due for half an hour so I nipped up into the terminal for a coffee. ☕
Once the plane had landed we got straight onboard via the back door to start catering. The crew allow us to do this while the passengers disembark as we don't get in anybody's way.
Later after some lunch I was asked help with the daily run to Heathrow airport. This would mean a late finish but I don't mind a bit of overtime 😜.🤑
We did in fact get back late due to a busy M25! So that's 1.5 hrs OT.
On the way up we witnessed an accident. A car ran into the back of another one in the lane next to ours. Quite a bang and made a complete mess of the rear car!
There was nothing we could do so we carried on, lucky not to be involved or held up at all.
