The last time we visited Legoland was in December 2024. It was a very cold day just before Christmas and a freezing day!
Today was different. At about 12°C it felt so warm in comparison. Our grandchildren enjoyed the park but not all the rides were available until next spring. The train ride was not running, due to upgrades and maintenance.
However, the boat ride was active, and we enjoyed that 😀....twice! I let my grandchildren take control 😱🤢🤮
But seriously, it is fun. I took a few pictures while just acting as passenger. 😆.
Later, we visited the Mini Village. An incredible display of miniature architecture built from Lego bricks. It is quite stunning, with buildings incorporated into a fantasy landscape.
Legoland is built into a hillside with the main entrance at the top. To get to the main attractions, there is a choice of a winding walk down or a shuttle ride to the bottom of the hill. We took the shuttle down.
On our way back up, though, we were sat in the train carriage ready for the ride back, only to be told that it had broken down! 🙄. So we had to walk up the hill in the end! 🥵
It was yet another exhausting day with grandchildren! I now need several days of rest! 😁
