On another wall to wall sunny spring day, we decided to take a nice walk in two adjoining parks where there are always nesting wild birds. Starting off in whats known as Bewbush Water Gardens.
I spotted the swans nesting on one of the small islands. I took a tricky long-range shot with my mobile phone on zoom. It came out ok and good enough to publish. 🤣
There are several islands here, where Canada Geese also nest but it may be a bit early for them, although they were very noisy while we were there.
Another wild water loving bird spotted on the nest was a coot. This time on the Ifield Mill Pond. Again, I took the picture using my mobile phone, which is not too bad.
The sun was nice, but again, there was a brisk cold breeze blowing today which was felt on one side of the lake.
