On a very cloudy and cool morning, we walked in Ifield Mill Pond park. It was quite pleasant even though the sun was not shining and felt warm.
Among the usual wild birds were a couple of black headed gulls. We often get sea gulls here, but it is unusual to see these here.
Later in the afternoon when we were safely indoors the was an intense thunderstorm with heavy rain. We watched the rain and lightning from the windows with awe!
