I had been in such a good habit posting my daily reports, but then I completely forgot to do it Friday morning. So today will be a double report of sorts. The graphic at the bottom of the page only shows my stats for Friday, Nov 17, as generated by the app. But I also clipped off a screenshot showing my steps for Thursday, Nov 16.
There's not much to say outside of my normal routine of walking to and from school. I took a little more than 2.6K steps on Thursday and a little less than 3.6K steps on Friday. I got a few more steps in on Friday since I helped out with food service to facilitate the Thanksgiving luncheon food service for students and teachers Friday afternoon.
I also shared a new photo as my cover image and thumbnail for this post. It is a picture of the community garden that's by my walk to school. It has very nice art on the side of the building showing many different fruits and vegetables grown by a diverse mix of people. Inside, there are about 12 raised beds for growing food plants, as well as a shady gazebo and some picnic benches to enjoy the park experience. I'm hoping that when things warm up in the new year, that I will be able to lead a gardening club for our school to empower some of our students to get involved in planting and growing food.
Tomorrow's post should be a lot better as I have another night planned to go out dancing at my favorite club, Elsewhere. However, since the artist I want to see doesn't play until 1am in the morning, all those steps won't count until Saturday. Dancing is my favorite way to boost my step count. Stay tuned for some fun pictures from the club tomorrow!
