Even my "slow days" are earning more steps since I started using a fitbit to track my activity. I'm still not in the rhythm of regular workouts, but my step total has gone up and it even tracks the flights of stairs that I walk up (although that number has been below the actual figure).
The only activity out of the ordinary walk to and from school was a trip to our local produce stand, Mr. Lemon. I bought some tasty looking yuzu persimmons, red delicious apples, non-dairy creamer for my coffee-drinking partner, and some ingredients for a white bean and kale soup for dinner tomorrow (onion, carrot, celery -- you know the classics!)
My cover image today is something I am proud of, as I have committed to learning a new language in my spare time. I'm sure there are better programs to use than Duolingo to teach me a new language more quickly, but I guess I'm a sucker for how they have gamified learning Spanish. My streak is now over a year long!
That's all for today. Tomorrow I should be back with some soup pictures and maybe even my first workout wearing the fitbit. Until next time, cheers!
