A monstrous Day 2 deserved a big number, and I came in just shy of 25K steps. Part of my large output was all the walking we did yesterday after midnight.
The main stage had its closing act end at midnight, but there are three other stages that stay open until 3am to host the afterparties. Of course, there are countless more renegades and private DJ sets at RVs and campsites all through the campgrounds.
We hung around to see Stumpi, Sabritaz, and Space Wizard before heading back to our camp and getting to bed before 4.30am! We slept in until noon, after I briefly checked for the internet service to try and stream the 7.30am Chelsea match.
Not only was I unable to stream video, I couldn't get into Hive keychain or Splinterlands to load. Last year I was able to submit my brawl battles while at Lost Lands, but this year -- no dice. I really let my guildmates down by fleeing most of my battles, with the few I tried to connect for ending in surrenders. This is the first time in many many months that I missed a turn in brawl, and I think my first time EVER with Brawlers.
It is a marvel that I am even able to get these actifit reports go through, but clearly, there's less heavy lifting than with Splinterlands. We just missed the mark getting back into the festival grounds at 4.30pm
Our afternoon brought standout sets from Alleycvt, So Down, Inzo, and Subtronics at the second stage -- Wompy Woods. We then saw this insane laser production at the new Crater Stage with Ahee and then Dirt Monkey.
Headliners Zeds Dead ended Day 2 with a classy performance on main stage, using lots of old music video content to cover their remixes. Not their heaviest set, but it definitely fit the vibes. I got in about 4 hours of active movement in addition to all the walking, so the fitbit did a nice job tracking the dancing movements.
Saturday is going to be an "early night" to save something in the tank for Sunday. Hopefully I'll be able to get back above 20K steps. Until next time...
