Saturday morning started with a full slate of English soccer matches, although my Chelsea played Sunday due to their European schedule midweek playing on Thursdays. I went for a quick morning shop once the matches wrapped up to grab bread, eggs, and ice cream!
After a nice brunch plate with fried eggs and toast, I got in some Splinterlands purchases based on the thin market for wild format staples using $DEC generated from my rental account. I gotta keep stacking those game assets.
Tonight's escapades took me to Forest Hills Stadium in Flushing, Queens, adjacent to the tennis complex that houses the famous U.S. Open Tennis Tournament. I was on the job, covering Gryffin's outdoor stadium tour stop for Moon Lvnding, my EDM brand.
It was a great show, featuring him playing live on his guitar and keyboard. He also brought out a few of the vocalists on his more popular tracks and played songs from his 7+ year discography. Luckily for me, the show started early and ended early because I had a second dubstep show to get to in Brooklyn.
I got plenty of steps walking to and from the bus stop. I needed to get to this more remote Queens venue, so there was no shortage of opportunities to stack those steps. Another long day led to 18K+ steps and plenty of long stares out on the dance floor. It never gets old!
I decided to stop at home to scoop my partner before the late show, so by the time we got to Avant Gardner to go to the Kings Halls, it was already midnight. That means it's time for me to get outta here, but we'll finish the weekend action tomorrow. Until next time...
