I'm not sure what crystal skulls have to do with selling plumbing, but this was a striking display at the front of the Kohler gallery of sinks and bath tubs. It was fittingly next to the Bathhouse in the basements near the Flatiron Building in Midtown Manhattan. My partner and I met another couple I was close with from my time in Colorado for a soak and a steam at the Bathhouse they're members of.
The facility was sleek and futuristic with large, clean lockers on the first floor downstairs. Two floors down was where all the action was happening: 2 hot pools at 104 F, a salt water pool at 98 F, and two cold plunge pools. There was a hot sauna at 190 F, a few steam rooms, and an infrared light sauna at 140 F. Sorry for all my Celsians out there. You'll have to humor me with conversions if you are interested in my silly American data.
Look at that lazy step count. I barely did anything active around my apartment until it was time to leave for the Bathhouse around 6.30 pm. Then we left the Bathhouse around 10.30 pm and walked to my buddy's dispensary before heading home. Crazy that I got the majority of my steps in the last hour of the day. At least I broke 5K. Until next time...
