Tuesday was a grind because I had a terrible time falling asleep on Monday night. I managed maybe 60 minutes of sleep before I had to get up for school. Lesson went well as we are teaching our students how to multiply with decimals and they grasped the concept quickly. Big win!
After school on Tuesdays, I've committed to doing online tutoring for some of our high needs students. That runs from 5pm to 6.30pm. Once the session was over, I booked it to Manhattan to meet up with my dad for dinner.
For dinner, we went to my dad's favorite Turkish spot in his midtown east neighborhood. We shared a chunky salad, a spread of dips, and a shrimp skewer plate. It was a delicious meal and it was nice catching up with my dad ahead of the holiday season.
Feels good to be back in the 10K club on Tuesday after forgetting to put on my FitBit at all on Monday. Of course, the commute to Manhattan always helps with the step count. Walking to and from the subway, walking around to the restaurant, and just strolling with my dad while he enjoys his tiny little cigarellos. Just cannabis for me, thanks. Until next time...
