Friday was another epic day in NYC. After a fun half-day of school, we had a great professional training session to help up prepare more impactful lessons for our scholars. By 4pm, I was back home and getting ready for our staff holiday party in Manhattan.
I got the last few of our Moon Lvnding articles edited and posted on our blog before getting dressed to impress. I brought my partner along, so I had to be sure to look my best. She gave me a fresh haircut and I put on a nice pair of wool pants with a suit jacket. But no matter how nice I dress up, she is most definitely the better half.
We got there at 8.30pm, about 90 minutes late, with 90 more minutes of fun. We enjoyed appetizer spreads and had some delicious sliced steak. The best part were all the free arcade games. I was crushing this fun football game.
But I got all the steps from cutting loose on the dance floor. It is always fun showing my co teachers that this little old Jewish guy got some moves in his shoes. It definitely helped me crush over 23K steps Friday night. Until next time...
