I'm not much of a Spotify listener; I've always preferred SoundCloud or YouTube for music videos. Now that Spotify is sucking up to the US Government and running ICE recruitment ads, I'm really glad I never subscribed to this app.
Most of the 381 minutes I listened on this app were for doing research on an EDM article I wrote for music brand and blog, Moon Lvnding. I also got curious about our very own Hivean and #Splinterlands content creator , so I spent an afternoon listening through his catalog and blasting a few tunes on repeat. Hopefully, he got a few extra cents and put that toward his ice cream money.
Turning my attention to the actual activity, it was another long day at school. I got in a bit early to make sure my copies got made before class. I make plenty of trips up and down the stairs, since our school is on the 4th floor of the school building and our cafeteria and recess are both on the ground floor. The trips are even more exciting because I get to supervise 25 6th graders and remind them that our transitions are silent. Good luck!
I hustled home after school to catch the 2nd half of Chelsea's crucial Champions League match day 6 battle away to Atalanta. Both teams were tied on 10 points and an away win would go a long way to help Chelsea lock up a Top 8 spot. But it was not meant to be. Even after a nice 1st half goal on their only clear cut chance of the half, Chelsea crumbled in the 2nd half.
Some poor marking in the box led to an easy header from the Italian forward and they completed the comeback with under 10 minutes to go when the defense decided to let their Belgian striker stride into the box without stepping up to stop the ball. It was sad to see such simple goals scored against Chelsea in such a big game. It has been a rough stretch of games for my Blues since the 3-0 thrashing of Barcelona. Maybe they peaked a bit early? We'll have to see where they stand after the furious slate of games over the holiday period. Until next time...
