Saturday was all about bracing for the impending snowstorm that is predicted to hit New York City (and the US East Coast) on Sunday. We are said to receive nearly 12 inches of snow!
The weekend started as it normally does, my partner sleeping in while I'm up early watching premier league soccer from bed cuddling next to her. A minimal amount of steps were walked until 4pm. I convinced her to leave bed and walk about a mile to a world famous Japanese Ramen spot called Ichiran. They have this very unique serving style and individual booths serves by mystery served hidden behind a bamboo curtain. It is a very cool aesthetic.
Hahahaha step counts like this always make me giggle a bit if it wasn't so sad about how inactive I am when it is cold outside. If it wasn't for that big walk to the Ramen joint for dinner, I wouldn't have got any steps at all. Well, thank goodness for good soup. We even stopped for cake and a smores bar to enjoy for dessert when we got back to our apartment.
We finished the night by putting on House of the Dragon from HBO. Getting ready for the next season which should he coming this year. Time to brace for snow. Until next time...
