Got something special for you today! Our band called
Steel Ink Band
Has completed a new album called
Calgary Stampede Album
Thought I would take the time to share these 13 tracks with you one by one in my Actifit Posts.
Personally these days it's kind of been feeling like the dog days of winter. It's still grinding at the shop. We are super busy. Not a lot of time for art projects and taking photos of interesting things to share with you.
So I thought I'd take the time to share this album here on the Hive Blockchain.
His first track is an introduction to the album, here's the YouTube link 🎵🎶🎧🤠♦️
Please give it a listen and please keep in mind you can find the rest of the album on our YouTube channel. Or if you'd like, I'll be posting these songs one by one here on Actifit in the coming days and weeks.
Here's a description of the first intro song
Album Title: The Calgary Stampede Album
Artist: Steel Inc
Saddle Up for the Greatest Sound on Earth
Steel Inc invites you to experience the dust, the glory, and the unbridled spirit of the "Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth" with their definitive new record, The Calgary Stampede Album. This isn’t just a collection of songs; it is a sonic ticket to the fairgrounds, capturing the full 10-day experience from the crack of dawn to the neon glow of the midway.
The journey begins with the high-octane anthem "Hello Calgary," a musical ribbon-cutting that welcomes locals and visitors alike with a warm western handshake. From there, the album weaves a rich tapestry of Stampede stories. You’ll see the wonder of the parade through a child’s eyes in "Click-Clack... Emma Will Be Back," feel the electric pulse of the city in "The City's Got A Bounce," and weather the sudden prairie storms in the romantic, rain-soaked ballad "The One That Got Away!"
Steel Inc masterfully balances grit and celebration. Tracks like "Pony Up!" put you right in the rodeo chute with a heart-pounding 208 BPM rhythm, while "Calgary Stampede World Wide" extends a roaring invitation to cowboys from Texas to Brazil. But this album requires more than just listening—it demands participation. With interactive interludes like "Yahoo-YeHaw" and the instructional line-dance track "Do It Everytime," you’ll be out of your seat and stomping your boots on the hardwood floor.
Featuring the powerhouse vocals of Lisa Michelle on the personal anthem "Those Wild Freedoms," this album is a celebration of independence, community, and the wild spirit of the west. So grab your hat, turn up the volume, and let Steel Inc take you to the grounds.
Listen now and let the "Yahoo!" begin.
This album aims to be a contribution to the celebration that is the Calgary Stampede!
Please enjoy responsibility!
