Yesterday I was active at home. Today was the last day of a two-week vacation. I considered going camping in central Germany, near Göttingen, another university town, but at first I was busy with getting all kinds of things done I normally don't have time for, and then I didn't want to risk travelling
Friday was more interesting, so here are more photos from that day. The COVID-19 test was in a parking garage of the academic hospital. Along the way, I still saw some of the Monero stickers I noticed in October last year.
At the start of my ride after the test, I got lost near Utrecht University's cattle farm. When you look closely, you can see one or two cows in the middle. I've been coming to De Uithof (Utrecht Science Park) for 30 years, but I still lose my way there sometimes. There are bends in the access road, and the east-west axis feels like a north-south axis.
Turning to the right in the same spot. There are two ominous-looking buildings here. But don't worry, these are simply heating plants for the campus.
Talking about ominous buildings: are you a real farmer when you don't have bunkers in your fields? This is in Park Rijnauwen which I mentioned yesterday.
And I got a better view of the convent I described on Easter Monday, when I did more or less the same route in the other direction. This time, I had eaten better and didn't feel exhausted at the end. But I did get a sunburn - on the 4th of September!
