Yesterday I went on a laid-back car trip with many stops, but first I needed to walk two miles to a Covid testing center, because I misunderstood the location. Apparently, arrow signs on a footpath don't mean it's around the corner.
There was a lot of summer vacation traffic on the highway, including caravan trailers and camper vans. This traffic jam was because of an accident, but sometimes traffic slowed down without a visible reason.
Eventually I had enough and escaped into the countryside. Without knowing where I was or where I was going, I ended up on a beautiful tree-lined road. Even people from the same province were surprised that this was near a village called Noordwijk, a name better known from the west coast of Holland.
